Chris Oyakhilome (Nigeria) is a television host, pastor and an author. Chris is also the President of Believers’ LoveWorld Inc. and is also known under Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome, and was born the 7th of December, 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. After his secondary and primary schooling, he enrolled in Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained an BSc in Architecture.

AAU also gave the honourary Doctor of Science prize. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Chris Oyakhilome The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.

Oyakhilome Chris Oyakhilome Ministries

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his ministry while he was still a student at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was at the time known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC was able to grow to become the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church’s headquarters are in Lagos. Believer’s LoveWorld is a worldwide organization with millions upon millions associates across the globe, is now called Believers LoveWorld.

Through the 2002 atmosphere for miracles, BLW rose to prominence as a Christian ministry on TV in Africa. They stopped airing this programme in May 2004 after the then President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles should be ceased by the churches.

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation is an initiative that was created to investigate and enhance the potential for leadership of Africans. The foundation recognizes, celebrates and supports young Africans who demonstrate leadership through positively impacting the lives of their generation. They do this through education in youth empowerment, as well as mentorship.
